IMS is the Middleware that acts as an Interface between the Core Banking System and the external channel Modules. This facilitates straight through processing with settlement systems which accept SWIFT Messages, with minimal user development effort. Files produced by the SWIFT Interface Module can be presented to the clients' SWIFT gateway for transmission to and from the SWIFT network, or alternatively, they can be used to generate instructions to be passed to other in-house systems.
