It manages all the transaction which performed through online like from Web Banking, ATM, Tele Banking etc but Inter Branch Transaction is not matched by IMS. IMS is the Middleware that acts as an Interface between the Core Banking System and the external channel Modules. It handles all administrative functions, financial and non-financial transactions initiated through external channel modules, like ATM, POS, Telephone Banking, Mobile Banking and Internet etc.

ATM Interface through Automated Teller Machines provides online real time facilities to perform different banking transactions, even in totally distributed environment. It helps Branches to connect with each other. All the online Transaction between branches can be performed from this module. Voucher can also be defined by the Bank if they need to add Treasury or Head Office for reconciliation.

This facilitates straight through processing with settlement systems which accept SWIFT Messages, with minimal user development effort. Files produced by the SWIFT Interface Module can be presented to the clients' SWIFT gateway for transmission to and from the SWIFT network, or alternatively, they can be used to generate instructions to be passed to other in-house systems.
